COVID-19

Whitchurch Community Helpers

Are you in need of some help at this unsettling time? Would it be useful to have someone to run errands for you? Are you vulnerable to COVID-19 and shielding at home? Do you know someone who is in isolation or unwell who could do with a little help?

We have a team of volunteers scattered around the village and outskirts who will keep in regular contact with households to support them with what they need such as:

  • Collecting prescriptions
  • Providing meals
  • Delivering shopping
  • Dropping off a paper
  • And much more…

We observe strict controls on hygiene and can operate in a way that the people in the household are comfortable with.

The only thing you need to do is make a telephone call. Do NOT hesitate to pick up the telephone and call any of the following:

Charlotte Patrick on 01296 640785

Alice Miller on 01296 879059

David and Heidi Meakin on 01296 641606

Between us we will coordinate the right support to suit individual needs.

Together we will get through this. Stay safe and well.
